A straightforward process with gorgeous results – that’s how we do custom packaging.

Our goal is making high-quality, digitally-printed packaging something that every business has access to. If the steps we’ve outlined below and our FAQs don’t address something you’re wondering about, we’d absolutely love to connect (by phone, email, or chat) and talk it through at any point along your custom packaging journey. Whenever you feel ready to dive in, read on!

Bags & Pouches Process

Step 1

Start With a Quote

It's fast, free, and easy

You: Tell us about the bag you want. We: Will give you a fast, free, no-strings-attached (really) quote. We’ll need to ask you a few questions, so make sure you’re ready to talk size, material, features, and quantity. Need more than one quote? No sweat. We’ll build as many as you can throw at us.

Step 2

Build Your Project

Let's make your bag a reality

When you have your quote configured just the way you like it, simply create an account to begin building your project — we’ll even use your quote to give you a jump start! Your dashboard will walk you through every step of the project process, including downloading the correct artwork setup guide and template for your specifications. Good dashboard!

Step 3

Get Creative with Artwork

This part is a lot of fun

We want your bags to stand out from the crowd, but we also want to ensure that your experience is smooth sailing. Due to the technicality of working with our precise templates, we highly recommend using an experienced graphic designer for this part of your journey. If you have one in mind, great! Not sure where to look? No worries. Just browse our Designer Network to find yourself a designer, experienced in using our templates and familiar with our process. Once your art is submitted, our prepress team will review and let you know if there are any issues or concerns, giving you the opportunity to make any adjustments.

Step 4

Place Your Order

BUT FIRST, LET'S MAKE SURE IT'S PERFECT

Once we’ve approved your artwork, we’ll go through two rounds of proofs (digital and physical) to make sure your bag is exactly right. For the physical proof, you can choose between a free flat press proof to check artwork and colors or a converted sample proof for the fully realized visual for an added fee. The physical proof is technically optional, but your bags are a big deal, so we don’t recommend waiving it. When we get the green light from you, we'll go into production and legendary short lead times will kick in.

Step 5

Live Your Packaging Dreams

You always dreamt about packaging, right?

No one likes to wait — and with Roastar’s lead times, you won’t have to. Your bags will be shipped hot off the press so you can get to the most important part: filling them with your product, sealing them shut, and getting them on the shelf. Need help at any part of the process? Reach out any time you need us! We’d never abandon you. Send us a picture if you think of it. We’d love to see them in action.
